At The Somatic OT, sessions are online and aim to provide a safe and supportive space to reconnect with your body, regulate emotions, and explore strategies that support everyday life and mothering.

Understanding attachment and relational patterns
Navigating boundaries
Integrating identity and role changes
Managing the mental load of mothering
Evidence-based parenting and attachment strategies integrated within an occupational therapy framework
Understanding developmental norms for infants and children, including biologically normal sleep and co-regulation requirements
Education about the nervous system and effects of stress or trauma
Complementary techniques used as adjuncts to occupational therapy, such as coaching, yoga, somatic tools and mindfulness-based practices.
